Locations Trip Essentials
Headed out to BC to tour filming locations? There are a few key things not to forget:
- Screen captures or episodes on your mobile device. You think you'll remember exactly what a scene looked like, but it's amazing how confused you get when you get out there.
- Boots/rain gear. We know you're dying to wear your screen matched hero Roslin heels in Vancouver, but you can almost guarantee rain at some point on your trip. Many of the sites will be muddy, so make sure you've got some appropriate footwear.
- GPS. You can print out your own directions from Google Earth (using the file above), but it's very helpful to have a GPS, especially when there's roadwork. Most US versions of a GPS contain Canadian maps as well, so throw it in your bag.
- Tide charts. If you're going to Nuked Earth Beach, check a tide chart for Boundary Bay. Revelations was filmed at high tide (the bay can really empty out at other times).
- Contact. Always contact the private locations listed in this guide before you go.
Battlestar Galactica is the property of NBC/Universal. All screen captures provided by frak-that.com. If you use photos from www.battlestarlocations.com, please credit us and include a link to our site.
